Belgium Trade Show, New collaborators and new Theme Parks!

Another eventful week at Airquee.

The latest Airquee show in Belgium over last week was very well attended by Hirers from Belgium, France and Holland. Adam from our factory in Romania flew in to offer an extra pair of hands at the show and he bought the team in Romania some delicious Belgian chocolates as a treat. Yummy!

Mark met up with our clients and distributors in the area then spent a couple of days with our new European team based on the border of Holland and Germany of Oscar and Jorn (pronounced ‘Yawn’...yes really).  Everything is working out fabulously there and the business is coming in nicely. Mark forgot to bring back the duty free….and the Belgian chocs….oh dear….

Our wonderful team in Romania are finishing off a new Inflatable Theme Park for somewhere in the UK  as we speak…where?? Can’t say as it’s …top secret, plus we just won a whopping order in Poland too.

Ollie, our resident Airquee Inflatable Theme Park Guru has a fist full of new orders ready to drop and we are looking for a bumper Summer and beyond.

Our designers are bringing new ideas to life every month to keep Airquee at the head of the pack in terms of innovative design.  UK HQ at Cwmbran has received several visitors this week, all splashing out on new inflatables and let’s hope this continues as the sun begins to shine.

Wayne is improving his French now Solene has left… ‘ooh la la’… lots of French speaking clients on the phone….he loves it really.  Carole is knee deep in orders from all over the world including Wales!!  Kerry is beavering away in Nottingham getting sales and visiting clients.

Promotions, working hard and SHOWS !

The Easter season is well and truly behind us now. After a lovely 4 day Bank Holiday break, we are all back to work with a BANG! Well, maybe not a ‘bang’ as 4-day weeks do strange things to our ‘routine’…

Both factories in Romania are working flat out producing many inflatables and with 18 designers flat out creating new and innovative conceptions for our customers in the UK and beyond.

News ‘hot off the press; we have TWO factory promotions!!!.

Erika and Mariane are now both Joint-head of production at Airquee. Well done and Congratulations both are well deserved and we hope that this new layer of management will assist our continued growth.

Back in Brightly, the orders are pouring in again. Phew! What ‘posh’ problems we have…We are all gearing up for a mega summer and our current stock levels will be increasing in preparation for the last minute orders we will get before the season really kicks in.

Our European sales are taking off nicely with the addition of a dynamic Business Development Executive, Jorn Schaars based in the Netherlands. Welcome to Airquee!! and lots of sales to come!! Mark is over in Europe visiting some mega clients , attending Open Days and picking up a load of Belgian chocolate and duty free…. (we live in hope…)

Bye Bye Kerry and Phil, last minute decisions, full speed ahead!

Airquee sales has been very busy this week--It’s been a mad rush, last minute orders, last minute decisions about inflatables, it’s been go go go…

Our stars this week have been Bonita and Jade on our Repairs and Inspection desk. They are like Laurel and Hardy, very funny ladies with the warm charm of the Welsh.

Our guys in the Cwmbran warehouse have not stopped with the amount of work that’s coming in…..great work ladies and well done. Kris is now our roving onsite measurer and design guru….up and down the UK ( and Europe!) meeting Clients and advising on new ideas.

In Romania, the factory waved goodbye this week to Kerry and Phil after their mammoth 2 week trip to our busy factories.Kerry even cooked the Production team a Sunday Roast, including Romanian Yorkshire Puddings and gravy…. They loved it. A big thank you to Edina, our lovely factory Office Administrator . Newly promoted, she has been organising everyone!! Website, price lists, stock levels, erange…her talents are endless.

Our designers Rob and Ryan, Bela and Laci have moved Heaven and Earth these last weeks working on new 3d designs for brand new projects for later in the Summer.

It always amazes us how hard they work, their concentration knows no bounds, passion for detail…that’s why we make some of the best designed and clever inflatables in the world today.

Blizzard in ROMANIA, Mark is planning and we're running full speed!

News this week.  Romania has been hit with heavy snow and blizzards… in March!! Spring!!!  Kerry and Phil are over for one of the many TWO week stints in Romania to gee up the troops, help with procedures, new ideas and generally cause mischief and what happened? It snowed and snowed and SNOWED. Tons of the stuff and Kerry even fell over a few times while walking in to the factory…  shame it’s not on film as we could have earned £250!!! …back at HQ Cwmbran, the snow has gone, the daffodils are sprouting and it is quite tropical compared to our factory and things are going wonderfully;  our new recruit, Vicky, is calling loads of clients seeing what the plans are next year - she is learning the ropes fast and like all of us were in the early days she is AMAZED by the many interesting products Airquee make.

Ollie is back from his week off where he managed to get some R ‘n’ R in the West of Wales countryside.  Wayne has finally gone back to slimming world AGAIN….he was quite naughty at Christmas, eating sweet stuff and generally enjoying himself with too much grub I bet… now that his trousers are getting a tad tight he has succumbed.  GOOD LUCK WAYNE!  Carole is still the queen of the Pool Inflatables, getting orders in left right and centre - och aye the nooo!!

Mark is busy planning his next European trip, off to see our Dutch German and French contacts….. and have meeting after meeting with Oscar.   This year is proving to be very busy again, business is already up on last year and we are looking at major orders throughout the summer… GET IN QUICK if you know that you need something exciting for SUMMER, it will sooooooon be here!

Vicky, Ghost Town, Europe and Directors in ROMANIA!

Sooooooooooooo, it’s all go at the two factories!  Orders are flying in from all over the Globe and that means busy, busy, busy!  Phil and Kerry had an interesting trip over battling heavy rain and winds during the 3 hour road trip from Bucharest to Sfântu Gheorghe. Exciting things are happening during their two week stay as the next HUUUUUUUGGGGEEEE inflatable THEME PARK will be inflated TODAY on the massive field adjacent to Airquee One and Kerry is soooooooooooooooo excited!  You never know there could be another Facebook Live!!!

Back at HQ Cwmbran it’s like a Ghost Town as Ollie is off on his holidays at a secret location somewhere in the UK with his menagerie of animals… Jade, our resident Bridezilla is also enjoying some quality family time this week in Wales which means that Bonita or Wonita as Kerry calls her has been solely in charge of booking in all Repairs and Testing and she has done an amazing job!!!  Making good use of her headset as she flies around the office and warehouse.

We welcomed a new Business Development Executive to the Sales Team, Vicky, so this week has been a huge learning curve for her as this is the first time she has worked with inflatables… WELL DONE VICKY you have done a sterling job!

Meanwhile in Europe, Hadek our Distributor in Belgium is busy planning his Open Weekend so if you are around the area pop in and grab yourself a brand new inflatable as there will be some new products that have never been seen before in Europe.

Back on the border of Holland and Germany, Oscar has been settling into the new Airquee Europe office and has had an influx of customers visiting him… exciting times ahead as in a couple of weeks a new addition to the team will be starting too… more to follow in a few weeks.

Dogs in Parks, Snow is off and MOTHER'S DAY!

The snow has melted- the last ‘dregs’ were on the Cwmbran car park on Monday morning.  We are now back to normal, phew!

Mark is still drinking Sangria in Tenerife and will be back this week, probably with a well-earned suntan. Lady Macca and her trusted companion, Norman the patterdale have been on the road, North South, East West visiting clients, discussing new ideas and projects in the pipeline and  brand new businesses to Airquee looking for us to create something special. Shhhhh it's all Top Secret. It appears that Norman was Chief Tester at an installation this week and was having fun during the training session on the HUUUUUUGGGGEEE 90m x 30m INFLATABLE THEME PARK!

Wayne, Carole and Ollie haven’t stopped since the thaw and orders are coming in thick and fast. We also welcome a NEW addition to our UK Sales Team at HQ Cwmbran; VICKY… new to the industry Vicky is being blown away by all of the inflatable jargon and vast array of innovative Airquee products!

Wayne is looking after our French customers ‘sacre blue’…after Solene’s departure and the Lucky Lady is off to the far east in a weeks’ time fo a full 9 months. Let’s hope she applies the SUNSCREEN!

Our TWO amazing factories are still working flat out making and creating our incredible inflatables and we couldn’t be happier.

Oscar in the Netherlands, our Airquee European Director is doing his bit to conquer Germany and get more buyers to choose Airquee and it is working as word spreads. Oscar is well known to the Europeans and his years of experience and knowledge are invaluable.

A word of thanks to our senior Design staff who all work hard, under pressure to create all the beautiful products we make they and the Stitching Teams are our unsung heroes. Well done to Rob, Ryan, Laci, Bela and all the other designers and visualists at our factories.

SNOW SNOW AND MORE SNOW- THE BEAST FROM THE EAST ARRIVES IN CWMBRAN

This week at Airquee was dominated by the winter weather that hit the UK. The Siberian winds and arctic cold weather arrived on Wednesday night, then it started to snow and it hasn’t stopped.

Even Airquee Cwmbran had to succumb to the Polar blasts and knee deep snow and shut its doors today. Our Factory Team are finding this hilarious as annually they soldier on through -30 temperatures and metre deep snow drifts and we are halted at a mere fluttering! Don’t think we’ve all got a day off and gone sledging we are all here, working remotely from our warm homes ready for those orders, questions, advice, repairs and testing bookings. Just call 0117-9414918 option 1 and we will be here.

All deliveries have been cancelled by the shippers so this is beyond our control; we hope to have normal business resumed next week.

Our other news was Solene, our multilingual sales executive left us on Wednesday she brought in a HUGE delicious strawberry cake for everyone and then said her goodbyes. She will be off on the Far East travels very very soon. Au revoir Solene.

Mark our illustrious leader took to the skies for warmer climes this week to work he says….. Tenerife for a week!  He seems to enjoy shopping so we bet he has bought a 4ft Straw Donkey, a large Sombrero and a pair of castanets….ole…. bring us back some duty free !!!
