We made it!

Happy Holidays! Yes we’ve made it, and we can gladly say, that we accomplished our goals for 2016, and we are looking forward to 2017 with new and exciting projects. Even if we’re looking forward for a 2 week of shutdown, we are still planning for the 2017 season and for the first shows of the year, the Republic of Ireland (14th and 15th of January) and the INPAS 2017 show (21st and 22nd of January). So make sure you stick around to find out more interesting stuff and follow us on all our social media platforms.

As mentioned on the previous blog, our colleagues from Romania have their annual shutdown, and they are off until the 4th January (which is great!). At this point everyone should be preparing for Christmas and having a laid back period. The factory is empty and silent, no machines rumbling, no people moving around, no testing, no problems! Its peace and quiet for 2 weeks.

In our office in Cwmbran, work is still going on, and preparation for the Christmas meal with the staff has happened. We had almost everyone from the staff out, well, Kerry is ill so she had to miss this one out! (Poor Kerry). It’s sort of annual tradition where our Cwmbran colleagues have this “family” moment, it makes our team grow stronger!

With this blog, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! Airquee want to thank everyone for contributing to our growth and helping us becoming who we are, and better every day! See you in 2017, with new and exciting things!

Holiday feeling!

It’s about that time of the year when we can gladly say we made it! It’s the last full working week for our colleagues in Romania, because the Factory shutdown is due on the 21st, which gives them a head start in the festive feeling and the preparations for the Holidays. On the other hand, in our Cwmbran office, we’re preparing for the next weeks Secret Santa, organized and managed by Ollie! More details will come on the next week’s blog, so make sure you stay tuned.
In Romania, we have had one of the coldest days this year. The temperature went well below 0 (yes it was really, really cold -150C!!), which makes us want the holidays faster so we won’t need to go outside, it’s too cold. It hasn't stopped people in the factory testing the units, even though there's snow on the ground. On a positive note, the Factory managed to send out every order in time for Christmas, which we take pride in. An excellent end to an excellent year!

Our colleagues in Cwmbran, are preparing for a staff night out next week to celebrate Christmas as a team! We’re expecting a few pictures and a lots of stories, which we might even share on next week’s blog. Next week, the Cwmbran office will be the most complete for this time of year, as people are away planning their festive activities and using annual leave, so it was the best time to plan it.

Stayed tuned next week, we’ll be having a sum up of the 2016 year with some details of the last working week in Romania, and the staff night out!

We’re almost there!

It’s Friday again, and this week was no exception in the volume of work. We have had an almost full office this week, except Sol who’s off for 2 weeks recharging after spending all year spreading the word of Airquee across Europe. We’ve had two of our Romanian colleagues visit our Cwmbran office this week, Adam from Logistics and Viktor from Marketing. Their dedication to making everything run as well as it possible can shows, as it’s all business and no pleasure, except when they treat everyone in the office to some fantastic Romanian chocolates. A nice Christmas treat for everyone! We already foresee a really busy and productive 2017 so make sure you’ve made your orders and are checking the website for constant updates of new products!
2016 isn’t over yet though and we’ve spoke about how busy we are with everyone in the Romanian factory packing the final lorry to arrive in Cwmbran this year! It will be a busy time preparing the final shipment so that orders arriving are sent out before Christmas. It’s been a great year, and the final dispatch of the year marks the end it, and we can look forward to a bit of leisure time over the festive period when the factory shuts down.
This blog is a bit short, but we’re determined to keep you updated as much as we can about the goings on at Airquee. Quality without compromise is what we aim for, and after another week of success, we’re looking forward to the next, and there are only two more until the end of the year!

The Countdown has Begun!

We made it! It’s the 2nd December, we’re feeling festive and as ready as we’ll ever be to embrace the Holiday Spirit, with this week marking the start of opening of Advent Calendars. In the Cwmbran office, Ollie and Sol from our lovely Sales Team, have taken time to decorate the place. It’s definitely made everyone here feel the festive spirit, along with customers who come to visit us and our showroom, and Phil even added to the atmosphere with more decorations before everyone came in this morning!

Our factories in Romania have been closed Wednesday and yesterday for their national holidays of St Andrew’s Day and National Day. We have certainly missed colleagues not being around and it shows how much teamwork is needed from both ends to make a final product, with care and quality for our customers. This also brings us even closer to our annual factory shutdown, which is a few days before Christmas, 21st December being the last working day in Romania, just two days before the Cwmbran office closes on the 23rd December.

And a quick weather report! We had our first temperatures below zero in the UK, which means it’s the perfect time to look around our fantastic stock for indoors inflatables! There has also been a blizzard in Romania, but luckily everyone’s indoors and busy working on getting your inflatables to you before Christmas. It's like Santa's workshop with all the staff busy at work!

We’re definitely feeling the Friday vibe and it’s been a different week with the factory closed for two days and temperatures falling, but we’re pushing hard to fulfill all the orders that were sent in until November to arrive to you before Christmas!

Is it Christmas yet?

The answer to that is not yet, but it is exactly one month away! Time is moving faster than everyone realizes, and that includes how long you have left if you want an inflatable before the factory closes for Christmas. The factory has been extremely busy this year and the final lorry to come to Cwmbran will soon be full, so it’s important that if you want your inflatable, you call us and we will do what we can! December is all about caring, and we, as always, will do everything we can to make sure you get your unit as soon as possible. Our festive treat to you!
At the office in Cwmbran, we’re back to a near full house once again, which is good timing as our Black Friday sale has left the phones ringing none stop! Phil and Mark were back in the office this week, and Mark has already gone on his travels again and is attending our Netherlands Show which is being held today and throughout the weekend. We’ve been getting updates and it is proving to be another good show! Mark will be back in the office next week, Kerry will be back from her travels, and there won’t be a free seat in the office.

Since we’re talking about all the travelling the Airquee employees are doing recently, we may as well let you know about the visitors to Cwmbran! From our Romanian factory we have Viktor from Marketing and Adam from Logistics here to make our processes even better, review what a successful year 2016 has been, and make 2017 even better! As with every week, we’re busy once again because we aim to make every unit with the highest quality and won’t compromise on anything to do that, and with December being the month of giving and caring, Airquee shows how much we are about our customer service by giving 120%!

Being Busy is Good!

Just like we mentioned last week, we have Phil and Mark over in Romania planning for the upcoming year, preparing the upcoming new and innovative ideas with our marvelous crew. This means Cwmbran is still not a full office but really, really busy. The office is going to be even more quite, because Kerry has left for 2 weeks, travelling as far from us as possible, all the way to Australia. Showing true Kerryan fashion (it’s not a word, but it should be!) that she is dedicated and has even given a number to contact her on during her days off! Just because our Directors are not in the office, that doesn’t necessarily mean we can slack even a bit - we always make sure you get the best possible services!

In other news, we’ve had a Photo Shoot and the model is our fantastic new addition to the e-Range, the 12 x 12 Side Slide Combi! It’s been a busy and fun time for everyone involved, and makes us remember when we first launched the e-Range last year, and doing this for 6 products. We’ve even managed to get a shot of the set! You can see our brilliant e-Range Side Slide in the Ocean theme, having all the heavy duty equipment ready to be doing magic!

Last but not least, because we’re keeping the theme “busy but good,” transport day is really close, and we have a lot of units ready to make our customers happy! Take a look at what we’ve got in store for you, and this is just a small portion of the next shipment, which will join the mountain of stock and customer orders ready for dispatch in Cwmbran. See if you can spot which one might be yours!

On that note, we’re going to end this blog post here, because we’re so busy and with so much happening this blog could go on all day. Make sure you keep your eyes on our social media to see results Airquee’s quality without compromise on all of our inflatables!

It’s that time of year!

It’s a sign of the time of year, when everyone has realised that they have enjoyed their work and they have so much annual leave they have to take it off before it’s gone. This has ended up, as you’d expect, with fewer people in the office. What it hasn’t affected though is the number of calls we’ve received and how busy the people here are, so from the outside view we’re still giving the same fantastic service as ever!

Another reason that the office is emptier is because Phil and Mark are off in Romania again providing training for new processes and staff which help us make our fantastic inflatables! We have had a large number of newer products this year and it’s all thanks to the fantastic team effort.
This was shown today when we had a lorry from the factory packed with your orders! It’s always great to see the team work together and have the whole process end in the pallets all packed and customers which are very happy with their purchase!

Well, it’s a short post today, but an especially busy week. Be sure to stop by next week and see what has been happening in the inflatable world of Airquee! I think that could almost be our new strapline…
