Bowling, Big NEWS and Sol's leaving...

Another exciting week at Airquee. We have had lots of Visitors this week. Lots of brand new ideas discussed and potential orders to come !!

The orders have simply not stopped here in the UK, and orders are picking up a pace in Europe.

Today, Airquee opened in 1^st Germany Office…Wunderbar !! Airquee Europe has 3 staff now and will be getting bigger and bigger in the months to come. Supported from the UK as well, we are delighted to have a foothold in Europe’s 2^nd Biggest market.

Sad new, our Solene is leaving next week for pastures new. Last night, as a going away bash, the whole Cwmbran office including the Bosses took everyone out for a slap up meal followed by a night out Bowling. 2 teams, 'the Good at bowling’ team versus the ‘Useless at Bowling team’. Guess what, the ‘Good’ ones won the game, with Ryan, our Designer winning the Title of Top Scorer. He's certainly brilliant at throwing those balls !! Phil H came in last position-he couldn’t throw a ball in a straight line if he tried…he came last !! haha.

Pancakes, Our factories working flat out and a French Au Revoir?

The troops arrived back to Cwmbran after a successful Irish show outside Dublin. I bet some Guinness was drunk  !! I bet Adam from Romania downed a few over there.

In Romania, our 2 factories hit an all-time high of Production this week (PS can’t tell- you its

top secret) Thank you one and all for your hard work and efforts. Our business is going from strength to strength.

This week, there was some normality…..Half Term in England, lots of Hirers were on the phones ordering last minute inflatables for the summer.

Lady McIvor did us proud on Shrove Tuesday with her take on ‘How many pancakes can I make from this small box of batter?’ quiz. Yummy, they were delicious…One of our customers, Reiss Taylor Remblance guessed closest– she made 17 pancakes!

 And he won a £75 voucher off any future purchase. Well done Reiss.

The next big event is Sol’s leaving do….next week we are all- everyone in Cwmbran HQ- going Bowling and having a slap up Burger and chips !! Lovely stuff. Au Revoir, ma Cherie …we will miss you.

Romanian Trio, Travels and Spring SHOWS!

It’s been all go again at Airquee. The Northern Ireland show was a great success again. It was great to meet old clients, enjoy the ‘craic’ and meet brand new customers who decided to come and have a look at our exciting range of Inflatables. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend. Our Unicorn bouncer was the talk of the show this year !! and, of course, the Minions additions to our Licenced artwork themes.

Our Romanian Trio , Erika, Tilda and Edina enjoyed the emerald isle (they didn’t touch the Guinness honest !), the food and the atmosphere. Tired after a long 10 days, 2 trade shows, they travelled back home. We miss you ladies. Come back and visit us soon !! Today, lady Macca, Phil and Adam from the factory are off to Dublin for our Spring Irish show this weekend.  They will be visiting our lovely colleague Gerry at Bounce Ireland in Navan and all those lovely Irish customers bringing their euros to spend.

Carole, Ollie and Wayne were left running the shop !! We have been run off our feet with lots of new designs and the theme park orders.

We have some sad news, our lovely Solene, our beauty from France is leaving us at the end of February to go backpacking in south east Asia for 6 months…..boo hoo…it’s something she always wanted to do…we all wish her good luck on her adventure. We will all be following you on Facebook..

Shows, traveling and the future!

January has been fantastic for Airquee, in terms of new clients, new orders from the UK and Europe. We just have not stopped.Our Inflatable theme parks are making serious head roads and the enquiries are continuing at a pace !!We have just inflated our largest ever Park at the factory for a UK Client…its absolutely massive. It will be on its way these next week.!!Still Top Secret – all will be revealed in due course.

INPAS was a great window for Airquee and our Products. Liverpool was a great city to showcase what we do too. We met loads of our customers and had a very good show. Erika, Tilda and Edina all came over from our factory and it was great for them to speak and meet customers face to face.

Erika and Tilda have been before, however, this was Edina’s first show and she simply loved it !!

All 3 ladies are working in the Cwmbran office before they all fly to Northern Ireland for the first of our 2 Irish shows.

Wayne took them under his wing and all 3 had a night out in Bristol and they sampled Thatchers Gold Cider at a local boozer. There was a lot of giggling !

Show Season, snow and more!

A belated Happy New Year to all our followers, customers and readers…Things are stepping up in Europe and Oscar Dragt our dynamic new addition to the Airquee family is busy developing a new Team for European customers; we will keep you posted as things happen. 

Airquee UK welcomes Bonita to our Customer Service Team.  Bonita will be job sharing with Jade and helping to ensure that all post sale enquiries, annual testing and repairs of inflatables are handled efficiently.

Also in the UK Phil ‘our Man who always Can’ has been ‘run ragged’ preparing for the INPAS 2018 Show at Liverpool where we will be launching some interesting new inflatables and showing off crisp new Despicable Me and Minions licensed artwork… Exciting times…. Kerry, our Globe Trotting Sales Director returned from New Zealand full of ‘pop’ and has been annoying everyone in the office with her effervescent personality, maybe we should cancel her annual leave to calm her down!

Sol is planning for pastures new as she is going to be travelling across Asia and beyond with her partner… we still have her skills until end of February.  Poor old Wayne has been struck down with a terrible virus but being the Soldier of Sales that he is has been working from his bed surrounded by Vick’s Vaporub, Lemsip and lots of tissues! Bless…   Carole continues with her quest for World domination of leisure inflatables and her beloved Scotland has been chosen to have an Airquee Show in the Autumn so she is one happy lady!  Ollie enjoyed his festive break with his newly acquired fiancé status and menagerie of animals and has returned to work and is bang on it with his specialism of the Inflatable Theme Parks!

Our amazing Team at the Airquee SRL factories in Romania returned to work after the Christmas holiday to inches and inches of SNOW! Erika, Tilda, Edina and Adam will be venturing across to the UK to help out at the forthcoming exhibitions.  We couldn’t be as successful as we are without these committed members of our team.

Easter is coming early this year so ensure that you are ready to hit the ground running by coming along to any of our upcoming shows in the UK, Northern Ireland and the republic of Ireland so that you can add to your hire fleet because the Easter Bunny will be hopping around from 30^th March and in Ireland this also means Holy Communion and Confirmation Celebrations will soon be upon us too.

Airquee HQ at Cwmbran has been buzzing with visitors to our Showroom since the doors opened on 2^nd January 2018, not only are customers coming to see new ideas they also want to have their existing inflatables tested or repaired.  Remember to get your inflatables out of storage and check them over as they need to be in good working order ready for the 2018 season to begin.

We have been blown away by the amount of serious interest in The Inflatable Theme Parks similar to the one we installed at InflataNation, Manchester; Facebook drummed up sooooooo much interest and the videos went viral.  It is likely that you will be seeing more and more of these incredible inflatable arenas during 2018/19 and Airquee are very proud of this achievement both in design, manufacture and installation of them.

This is the last Blog of 2017.

Phew what a year it has been !! The busiest year in our History. So many new clients from all over the world, the development of a brand new European Sales Division to create new opportunities on the Continent, and  increased business from our many loyal UK and Ireland customers. Thank you all.

It all starts back with a BANG on 2^nd January and our UK/Ireland Trade Shows begin in earnest a couple of weeks later. Then we're going to INPAS on the 28th and 29th in Liverpool Exhibition Centre. Where we'll show you some great new products for 2018!

Everyone at Airquee, whether in the UK or at our factories in Romania would like to wish all our Clients, Distributors and Suppliers, old and new, a very Happy Christmas and an even more successful New Year.

Christmas Tree, Shutdown and SNOW!

Latest news….3 weeks to Christmas and counting. Our factories are working to full capacity and some…we have just had the busiest Quarter in Airquee history with orders pilling in for the New Year and beyond. Phil H has returned from his jollies in Romania after 3 weeks away from Cwmbran…we had to dust his desk because he was gone so long…... The day Phil left Romania it started snowing…funny that…news is they have 5cm already (that’s 2 inches in old money) and more to come. You got out just in time, I say Phil !!

We only have 1 and half weeks production time before the Christmas shutdown when our huge talented Romanian workforce have a well-earned rest. Shutdown is now 20^th December at our factories- the UK office is open until Friday 22^nd December for any last minute New Year orders. The Cwmbran Christmas Party is the night before- so be gentle with them if you call….sore heads and hangovers, I do expect…

The Cwmbran Office Christmas Tree is now up-. Wayne said the old battered Airquee Christmas Trees have seen better days (they have got to be 20 yrs old)  and need to be chucked out- it worked- Phil; went out and bought a brand new one !! As you can see from the picture Ollie is always adhering to health and safety rules. The flickering Christmas tree lights are now driving Wayne nuts!! You just can’t win !!! 

Mark is back from Romania- it was snowing hard there !! Mark nearly got eaten by a dog –the size of a bear- he said.  Yeah right…people have Bears as pets !!  The Office is still working hard on last minute orders for the new year and Sales are all enjoying a last minute flurry of activity.
