We've got that WEEKEND feeling!

I think it's fair to say that Team Airquee has been working harder than ever this month - in the factory they are flat out getting everyone's units ready before their well deserved annual holiday. 

Our factory closes in August for 3 weeks from the 14th August until 6th September. But that doesn't stop our offices here in Cwmbran from being busy as usual!

The leisure shows are upcoming and we’re making time in our hectic Airquee days to get through all the preparation and organisation that goes into them! 

First stop, on the Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th September we'll be at the Emergency Services Show ( ESS) at the NEC Birmingham, UK.

Then you can find us on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th September 2018 at the Euro Attractions Show – EAS Rai Exhibition Centre, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Saving the best for last this year, Sunday 7th and Monday the 8th October 2018 you can find us at the Leisure Supplies Show – LSS at the 20 Great Kings Street North Birmingham,B19 2LF.

And then on the 13-14th October we're at our Northern Ireland Show, in the usual place of Beragh, Northern Ireland.

Followed right after on 20^th - 21st October by the Republic of Ireland Show, in Navan, Ireland.

Phew !!!! What a busy period is in front of us, we invite you all to come along to try our fantastic products. We'd love to see you!

The country has been baked this week with the heatwave generating record-breaking temperatures for the year. Unbelievable but first time ever it’s hotter in UK than in Romania. YEAAAAY !!

Airquee is busier than ever, producing last minute orders, our fabulous employees in Production, Design, Marketing and Admin are giving well over 100% to make sure our clients Worldwide have everything they need before the Summer shutdown mid-August.  They are all so looking forward to their much needed break after a phenomenal 2018 Season.

Just to reassure our readers that there will be a team of skeleton staff (not literally) working throughout the period to answer any last minute questions. Our Cwmbran office is fully manned throughout this period for new orders, repairs and testing …

New Inflatable Park and European EVENTS!

More news from Airquee!!  it’s been a scorcher in the UK this past couple of weeks- we were allowed to put the air conditioning on to cool off. Our resident Designers were in their overcoats moaning about the cold  brrrrrr…..even our resident Seagulls and babies have been in the shade.

It hasn’t stopped them dive bombing and targeting cars at Cwmbran – Maybe the company should provide a proper covered car port or individual car covers!!!

What a manic couple of weeks it has been In Romania- everyone is busy finishing off the latest inflatable theme Airparx- even with the biggest downpour in Romanian history to contend with, as always we got there in the end… Check out these superb action shots of our resident Testers!!

Although the England team did well at the World Cup, Airquee scored some goals in the NETHERLANDS with some great pitch advertising at one of the premier league Football teams.

We may have lost to Croatia in footie but Airquee is there all the way with the Tour of Croatia Cycling when it begins this summer, providing the tournament START and at the FINISH arches. Hurray !!!

Our repairs team have been trotting the Globe carrying out inspections on inflatables- it’s like a holiday brochure…Malta, Poland, Scotland, Austria…Weston Super Mare……..

Hot weather, BBQ In Romania and another THEME PARK!

News from Airquee! The sun is beating down in Cwmbran, Mark has agreed to turn on the Air con…hurray! Phew it’s a scorcher this week in South Wales.

Our management team of Mark, Phil and Kerry have just returned from a week in Romania - (top brass and all that) they threw a fabulous BBQ for all the Production and dispatch teams at the Company House and everyone enjoyed the free food, meats and soft drinks….no one was worse for wear the following day….it was alcohol free !!…This time our Dutch Duo of Oscar and Jorn visited the factories and saw how Airquee create those beautiful inflatables are put together.

Wayne celebrated his birthday this week, he refused to tell us his magic number. It’s an official secret, he says. Chocolate cake is being circulated in the office today… yum yum. Kerry is off on her hols this week to the Norfolk Broads…Captain McIvor and First Officer Norman the Patterdale will be sailing on the waters…aya aye Captain.

Kris and Jacek are installing another one of our HUGE Inflatable theme parks in Scotland this week. After installing our latest Inflatable theme park in Swansea.  Our repairs, testing and inspections are in the good hands of Bonita and Jade. Give them a call on 0117 9414918 option 3.

Open Day Fun at Airquee Romania!

So it has been yet another very busy few weeks at Airquee, so busy in fact that even finding the time to write this blog has proved difficult to squeeze in!  We have been inundated with customers needing inflatables for their upcoming school holidays June and July. With all of the other orders already in our system it is all hands on to the pump both in UK and Romania; everyone is working so hard. 

Being Airquee, Europe’s largest manufacturer of inflatables we have held an Open Day at our AQ1 factory and all of our loyal team from both factories along with their friends and family were invited along to play on a huge variety of our inflatables and what an amazing time they had!  Balloons and snacks were given out and they enjoyed it so much that no one wanted to leave! The day was a resounding success as it is so rare for our amazing staff who spend hours and hours planning, stitching, testing and rolling up our inflatable creations rarely get to actually ‘enjoy’ them!  View these pictures to see for yourself:

We are booked up solid for the next couple of weeks for Testing and Repairs at Cwmbran however you can still call as we have a superb mobile network of Repairs and Testing Engineers so we could still try to help you.  It’s been a great week as when customers popped in to drop off inflatables for repairs they made use of viewing the inflatables in our show room and one customer had never seen an E-range unit in the ‘flesh’ and was blown away by the quality for the price so definitely worth popping down to sunny South Wales when you can.

Full Steam Ahead!

Here we are again, another Blog….news in Cwmbran , we are thinking about getting some sheep to eat the grass surrounding our building…currently, it is knee deep and the grass cutter has gone AWOL.. This is Airquee doing our bit to help Welsh Farming…just don’t shout MINT SAUCE…

Our other roof residents, the Seagull Family are dive-bombing us, the cars, deliveries again…the new baby gulls are obviously due any time soon…

News inside Airquee, Our factory is working at full capacity and productivity is at an all-time high. Even so, standard inflatables have a short turnaround of 4-5 weeks. Fantastic news for something special from Airquee.

Kris has now moved into the Office after many years running the Warehouse to become our 25^th (YES 25^th) Designer !!! He has years of experience understanding how inflatables work and he has taken this new role like a duck to water.

Our E-Range sales have gone through the roof….we are expecting more deliveries in coming weeks. Be patient more is coming…

Kerry, Oliver, Wayne and Carole are hard at it, selling loads of lovely inflatables all over the world. Wayne is getting lots of interest from France at the moment…Mais Oui and our Team on the Continent are also breaking records in Germany, Denmark and beyond.

Promotions, Visitors and a kind thought!

This week at Airquee there has been a well-deserved Promotion at HQ. We are delighted to announce that Clare our Accountant has been promoted to Cwmbran Office Manager.  Yaaaay! Well done Clare! Very much behind the scenes, Clare is hard at work dealing with all your lovely payments, invoices and now looks after the whole office, the Reception team and the Directors as well. Good luck Clare !!  We all love you !!!!

Several Visitors have been to see us in Cwmbran with their secret plans…Carole, Ollie Wayne and Kerry have been calling our lovely customers, taking more orders and generally keeping our factories stacked out with production. We also had visitors in the factories, a group of children from the  local schools. They had the chance to see the factory and to have a peek into the world of inflatables. They really enjoyed playing, proof of this is this beautiful drawing sent by a little princess the following day…

Not much else to report this week…the sun has been shining, the seagulls are beginning to build their nest above our Airquee front door which happens every year, we get dive-bombed when then chicks arrive…not long to wait now!!!! Actually there was a seagull spotted with a mouthful of nesting straw giving us the ‘evils’ as we arrived for work this week.. more news to follow soon….

It's May, Birthdays and Fish and Chips!

It’s May already…..Cwmbran HQ has been welcoming visitors from all over the Country this week.

We welcomed an important group of customers from a Leisure Centre Trust who wanted to try our lovely inflatables for lots of their Centres. They were real dog lovers and made such a fuss of Norman the Patterdale McIvor that he ended up giving our guests a tour and even decided to have a go on the inflatables as well….I think he should be on the Payroll…..I must speak to Phil about that one…it will at least pay for his treats.

Kerry, Ollie and Mark, then had a VIP visit us who is looking to spread the Airquee word over the Pond…all hush hush…

Not to be outdone, Wayne looked after a Welsh Council who are looking for lots of our bouncy castles and pool Inflatables for their venues…

Carole made an Official visit to Cwmbran this week, and in her honour, and to celebrate our amazing  Kris‘s 39^th Birthday as well, the Boss (Mark) treated the whole of Airquee Cwmbran to a humungous Fish and Chip lunch. The office stunk like a chippy all afternoon and everyone sat rubbing their full bellies, answering the phone with a mouthful of cod in curry sauce is a sight to behold. Dessert was the biggest Chocolate birthday cake in the world which meant Wayne got the carving knife out and sliced it like a Pro.

Damian, who makes sure you lovely customers get your orders on time, is getting married this week in Poland and we all wish him well. ‘Love really is in the air! Our colleagues in Romania had a bank holiday this week…workers day - while we were all stuffing our faces…….

The 2 factories are breaking all production records at the moment and they need to as our European orders are soaring !!

HEATWAVE, SHOWS AND GREENFINGERS!

What a week it has been with one of the largest shows of inflatables in Cambridgeshire.  Kerry joined up with Chris and they set up nearly 50 inflatables in barns!  Bouncy Castle Network’s Eddie and Aftab did a sterling job of marketing and filming ‘live’ videos on Facebook which caused a bit of a stir and we had a great turnout of visitors along with brilliant sunshine to boot!  Feedback was positive and we aim to do more of these.

Mark and Phil were in the ‘Big Smoke’ exhibiting at a Show and it seems they did well in making lots of new contacts as well as travelling in a cable car near the O2 to get some food whilst partaking in lots of top secret rendezvous with buyers in the capital.

Back in HQ Cwmbran Wayne nearly killed the Airquee reception plant...’was I supposed to water it?’ yes, you were!….anyway a nice drink later, a bit of TLC and the plant looked in better ‘nick’ ! Tut tut, these old people….

Kerry was in the office for a couple of days and was trying her hardest to get the Team into healthy eating by ‘juicing’ vegetables and fruit… no one was interested in her green sludge! Ha ha!  Still, whatever she puts in it seems to give her the energy to make the 3 hour drive home!

Ollie, Wayne and Carole are beavering away with enquiries from all over – They all have their skillset; Ollie is the Theme Park Guru and has become our international star this week. Getting orders from all over the place.. Denmark, Austria, Ireland, Barry island…..

Carole is on fine form, still selling those wonderful Pool Inflatables Airquee is so famous for and also looking after the Scottish customers.  When not killing plants Wayne is inundated with French enquiries and really getting to grips with their secret lingo…

Our Airquee Europe team of Jorn and Oscar have had a flying month, best ever sales in Germany we have ever had!!! Vunderbar!!  GOOOOOOOOOO AIRQUEE EUROPE!

Our superb teams at the factories in Romania are battling the rising temperatures to ensure that production runs smoothly whilst we are all frazzled…

Looks like the mini heatwave has passed as rain is once more again here in the UK, Wales loves a bit of rain!

Belgium Trade Show, New collaborators and new Theme Parks!

Another eventful week at Airquee.

The latest Airquee show in Belgium over last week was very well attended by Hirers from Belgium, France and Holland. Adam from our factory in Romania flew in to offer an extra pair of hands at the show and he bought the team in Romania some delicious Belgian chocolates as a treat. Yummy!

Mark met up with our clients and distributors in the area then spent a couple of days with our new European team based on the border of Holland and Germany of Oscar and Jorn (pronounced ‘Yawn’...yes really).  Everything is working out fabulously there and the business is coming in nicely. Mark forgot to bring back the duty free….and the Belgian chocs….oh dear….

Our wonderful team in Romania are finishing off a new Inflatable Theme Park for somewhere in the UK  as we speak…where?? Can’t say as it’s …top secret, plus we just won a whopping order in Poland too.

Ollie, our resident Airquee Inflatable Theme Park Guru has a fist full of new orders ready to drop and we are looking for a bumper Summer and beyond.

Our designers are bringing new ideas to life every month to keep Airquee at the head of the pack in terms of innovative design.  UK HQ at Cwmbran has received several visitors this week, all splashing out on new inflatables and let’s hope this continues as the sun begins to shine.

Wayne is improving his French now Solene has left… ‘ooh la la’… lots of French speaking clients on the phone….he loves it really.  Carole is knee deep in orders from all over the world including Wales!!  Kerry is beavering away in Nottingham getting sales and visiting clients.

Promotions, working hard and SHOWS !

The Easter season is well and truly behind us now. After a lovely 4 day Bank Holiday break, we are all back to work with a BANG! Well, maybe not a ‘bang’ as 4-day weeks do strange things to our ‘routine’…

Both factories in Romania are working flat out producing many inflatables and with 18 designers flat out creating new and innovative conceptions for our customers in the UK and beyond.

News ‘hot off the press; we have TWO factory promotions!!!.

Erika and Mariane are now both Joint-head of production at Airquee. Well done and Congratulations both are well deserved and we hope that this new layer of management will assist our continued growth.

Back in Brightly, the orders are pouring in again. Phew! What ‘posh’ problems we have…We are all gearing up for a mega summer and our current stock levels will be increasing in preparation for the last minute orders we will get before the season really kicks in.

Our European sales are taking off nicely with the addition of a dynamic Business Development Executive, Jorn Schaars based in the Netherlands. Welcome to Airquee!! and lots of sales to come!! Mark is over in Europe visiting some mega clients , attending Open Days and picking up a load of Belgian chocolate and duty free…. (we live in hope…)

Airquee sales has been very busy this week--It’s been a mad rush, last minute orders, last minute decisions about inflatables, it’s been go go go…

Our stars this week have been Bonita and Jade on our Repairs and Inspection desk. They are like Laurel and Hardy, very funny ladies with the warm charm of the Welsh.

Our guys in the Cwmbran warehouse have not stopped with the amount of work that’s coming in…..great work ladies and well done. Kris is now our roving onsite measurer and design guru….up and down the UK ( and Europe!) meeting Clients and advising on new ideas.

In Romania, the factory waved goodbye this week to Kerry and Phil after their mammoth 2 week trip to our busy factories.Kerry even cooked the Production team a Sunday Roast, including Romanian Yorkshire Puddings and gravy…. They loved it. A big thank you to Edina, our lovely factory Office Administrator . Newly promoted, she has been organising everyone!! Website, price lists, stock levels, erange…her talents are endless.

Our designers Rob and Ryan, Bela and Laci have moved Heaven and Earth these last weeks working on new 3d designs for brand new projects for later in the Summer.

It always amazes us how hard they work, their concentration knows no bounds, passion for detail…that’s why we make some of the best designed and clever inflatables in the world today.

Blizzard in ROMANIA, Mark is planning and we're running full speed!

News this week.  Romania has been hit with heavy snow and blizzards… in March!! Spring!!!  Kerry and Phil are over for one of the many TWO week stints in Romania to gee up the troops, help with procedures, new ideas and generally cause mischief and what happened? It snowed and snowed and SNOWED. Tons of the stuff and Kerry even fell over a few times while walking in to the factory…  shame it’s not on film as we could have earned £250!!! …back at HQ Cwmbran, the snow has gone, the daffodils are sprouting and it is quite tropical compared to our factory and things are going wonderfully;  our new recruit, Vicky, is calling loads of clients seeing what the plans are next year - she is learning the ropes fast and like all of us were in the early days she is AMAZED by the many interesting products Airquee make.

Ollie is back from his week off where he managed to get some R ‘n’ R in the West of Wales countryside.  Wayne has finally gone back to slimming world AGAIN….he was quite naughty at Christmas, eating sweet stuff and generally enjoying himself with too much grub I bet… now that his trousers are getting a tad tight he has succumbed.  GOOD LUCK WAYNE!  Carole is still the queen of the Pool Inflatables, getting orders in left right and centre - och aye the nooo!!

Mark is busy planning his next European trip, off to see our Dutch German and French contacts….. and have meeting after meeting with Oscar.   This year is proving to be very busy again, business is already up on last year and we are looking at major orders throughout the summer… GET IN QUICK if you know that you need something exciting for SUMMER, it will sooooooon be here!

Vicky, Ghost Town, Europe and Directors in ROMANIA!

Sooooooooooooo, it’s all go at the two factories!  Orders are flying in from all over the Globe and that means busy, busy, busy!  Phil and Kerry had an interesting trip over battling heavy rain and winds during the 3 hour road trip from Bucharest to Sfântu Gheorghe. Exciting things are happening during their two week stay as the next HUUUUUUUGGGGEEEE inflatable THEME PARK will be inflated TODAY on the massive field adjacent to Airquee One and Kerry is soooooooooooooooo excited!  You never know there could be another Facebook Live!!!

Back at HQ Cwmbran it’s like a Ghost Town as Ollie is off on his holidays at a secret location somewhere in the UK with his menagerie of animals… Jade, our resident Bridezilla is also enjoying some quality family time this week in Wales which means that Bonita or Wonita as Kerry calls her has been solely in charge of booking in all Repairs and Testing and she has done an amazing job!!!  Making good use of her headset as she flies around the office and warehouse.

We welcomed a new Business Development Executive to the Sales Team, Vicky, so this week has been a huge learning curve for her as this is the first time she has worked with inflatables… WELL DONE VICKY you have done a sterling job!

Meanwhile in Europe, Hadek our Distributor in Belgium is busy planning his Open Weekend so if you are around the area pop in and grab yourself a brand new inflatable as there will be some new products that have never been seen before in Europe.

Back on the border of Holland and Germany, Oscar has been settling into the new Airquee Europe office and has had an influx of customers visiting him… exciting times ahead as in a couple of weeks a new addition to the team will be starting too… more to follow in a few weeks.

Dogs in Parks, Snow is off and MOTHER'S DAY!

The snow has melted- the last ‘dregs’ were on the Cwmbran car park on Monday morning.  We are now back to normal, phew!

Mark is still drinking Sangria in Tenerife and will be back this week, probably with a well-earned suntan. Lady Macca and her trusted companion, Norman the patterdale have been on the road, North South, East West visiting clients, discussing new ideas and projects in the pipeline and  brand new businesses to Airquee looking for us to create something special. Shhhhh it's all Top Secret. It appears that Norman was Chief Tester at an installation this week and was having fun during the training session on the HUUUUUUGGGGEEE 90m x 30m INFLATABLE THEME PARK!

Wayne, Carole and Ollie haven’t stopped since the thaw and orders are coming in thick and fast. We also welcome a NEW addition to our UK Sales Team at HQ Cwmbran; VICKY… new to the industry Vicky is being blown away by all of the inflatable jargon and vast array of innovative Airquee products!

Wayne is looking after our French customers ‘sacre blue’…after Solene’s departure and the Lucky Lady is off to the far east in a weeks’ time fo a full 9 months. Let’s hope she applies the SUNSCREEN!

Our TWO amazing factories are still working flat out making and creating our incredible inflatables and we couldn’t be happier.

Oscar in the Netherlands, our Airquee European Director is doing his bit to conquer Germany and get more buyers to choose Airquee and it is working as word spreads. Oscar is well known to the Europeans and his years of experience and knowledge are invaluable.

A word of thanks to our senior Design staff who all work hard, under pressure to create all the beautiful products we make they and the Stitching Teams are our unsung heroes. Well done to Rob, Ryan, Laci, Bela and all the other designers and visualists at our factories.
